Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FantasyPress, including our website, Discord bot, Slack bot, and APIs (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

“FantasyPress,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the FantasyPress service and its operators.

You must be at least 13 years old to use FantasyPress. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Commissioners (account holders) must be at least 18 years old to enter a paid subscription.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

FantasyPress generates AI-powered sports journalism articles based on your fantasy league data. Articles are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for entertainment purposes only. They are not professional sports advice, fantasy advice, or recommendations of any kind.

FantasyPress is a news organization product — it reports on what has happened in your league. It does not recommend waiver pickups, roster moves, or fantasy decisions. Commissioners and league members remain solely responsible for all fantasy decisions.

Free trial. New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access. No payment method is required during the trial. Article generation stops at the end of the trial unless you upgrade.

Pro subscription. Pro is billed at $9.99/month or $79/year. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds. Monthly plans: no refund after articles have been generated for the billing period. Annual plans: full refund within 14 days if fewer than 5 articles have been generated. Billing errors are always refunded, same day. Technical failures lasting 7+ days are eligible for prorated credit. Refunds are processed manually — email [email protected].

Off-season pause. When all your connected leagues are in their off-season, we may offer to pause your billing. During a pause, your archive remains readable, your bots remain active, and off-season content continues. Billing resumes automatically when any league enters its season.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated scripts to access the Service in a way that creates excessive load
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to generate content that is defamatory, harassing, or harmful

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

FantasyPress connects to third-party fantasy platforms (such as Sleeper), Discord, and Slack. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs that may affect the Service.

FantasyPress is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Sleeper, Discord, Slack, the NFL, NBA, or any professional sports league.

Articles are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). While we design our prompts to produce accurate, grounded journalism, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any generated article for any purpose.

Generated articles are based solely on your league’s own data — they do not reflect real-world player performance, injuries, or news beyond what is present in your league platform.

The FantasyPress service, brand, and underlying technology are owned by FantasyPress. Articles generated by the Service for your league are provided to you for personal, non-commercial use within your league community.

Your fantasy league data remains yours. We use it only to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FANTASYPRESS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FantasyPress operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
